AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic ...
More Than a Game
Education
Three-quarters of every dollar has been returned to schools since 1937 — more than $165 million.
Today’s game will generate some $3 million for each university.
The AT&T Cotton Bowl partners with the Field Scovell Scholarship Foundation to distribute tens of thousands of dollars annually to local students with leadership abilities, high moral character, financial need and a connection to sports. All recipients must attend school in Texas or at a Big 12 Conference or Southeastern Conference school.
Economic Development
The AT&T Cotton Bowl generates more than
$90 million in direct and indirect spending each year for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex during an otherwise slow time of the year for hotels, restaurants and tourism.
The AT&T Cotton Bowl has a larger economic impact than any other annual event in Dallas outside of the 24-day State Fair of Texas.
Hospitality
The AT&T Cotton Bowl is unsurpassed in hospitality to visiting teams. In addition to the football game, AT&T works with the Cotton Bowl to host other community events throughout the year, including:
AT&T Cotton Bowl Hall of Fame AT&T Cotton Bowl Art Contest AT&T Cotton Bowl Music Festival
